So much to say, so little time. . .

Okay, so I haven't posted in a while. Not that anyone reads this anyway, but . . . I am making a resolution to post at least once a week. I have to just post something, not necessarily a long, IMPORTANT essay or a brilliantly HILARIOUS and witty story. Though those can be fun. EDIT: Just noticed that I had 46 posts in 2005 (my first year), a pathetic 12 in 2006 (what the heck was I DOING?) and I already have 14 this year, so I'm on an uphill swing . . .)

So, today. . . well, what the heck is it with this weather? Every freaking Friday and Saturday! WHY, OH WHY can't it rain on Tuesday, or Wednesday? We have only one day each week that we can seriously work in our yard, and that would be . . . SATURDAY. So when it rains, or for that matter SNOWS, or is in the winter coat temps, it is not very conducive to an attractive yard. Our yard is FAR from attractive, we just have aspirations to make it presentable enough that our neighbors don't start a petition to have us forcibly removed from the area. So today, we are going to venture out to see if it's even tolerable. If not, we will stay indoors and work on organizing and cleaning up our office so I can go back to working in there instead of on the couch in the living room. Last Saturday during the Big Blizzard of Ought Seven, we stayed on our butts and watched three movies. A delightful afternoon, to be sure, but not particularly productive. I guess we all need those kind of days though, and if a snowstorm on the the day before Easter isn't an occasion, well I don't know what is.

But today . . . well, it would just be lazy, wouldn't it . . .

I have a theory that it nearly always snows in April. This year, I was a dummy and thought we'd make it without an April (snow) shower. I was wrong. My caladiums wish I had been wrong. Oh well. Woulda planted my roses this weekend, but it was cold again. Maybe next weekend....

you did leave me a comment and tell me about ben folds/john mayer. as it turns out, tim layne (who is the homeless blogger, he went to h.s. w/ me and played hockey w/ mike, you've undboutedly met him in passing i'm sure) and i are going to that show as well. are you guys on the lawn or do you have seats? we're on the lawn. should be fun.

aramark boy is DEFINITELY local. he's very sweet without being cheesy and gross. and he reminds me a bit of bekah with his willingness to say anything and everything for pure shock value. he seems unnervingly perfect for me and i'm quite smitten. i'm trying not to expect too much here or get ahead of myself and get my hopes up too soon.... but dude, seriously. he's pretty rad.

Yep, we have seats. I saw a commmercial for tickets going on sale one morning and it turned out that Mix1029 had a special promotion for tickets before they went on sale to the public. They are in the middle but almost to the back row (can't remember which row). I am really excited, for sure. I hope it's as good as his live CD (JM3). We are big, big fans. Maybe we can hook up and see each other there. I plan for us to go pretty early to get a decent park and have some time to wander around since I've never been to Smirnoff.

Cool about the boy. Hope it continues to unfold well for you. Just take it one day at a time.

I'm sure I've met Tim. Was he a drum major? Is he a kind of heavy set guy with glasses? Name sounds familiar, but I may have just heard you guys talk about him.
